Creative Director, Gottex group

Since June 2009 Gottex has enjoyed new acclaim and a new generation of followers and critics, after Molly Grad, Creative Director of the Gottex group, joined the company. After graduating from the prestigious, and world renowned Design School Central Saint Martins in 2001 with a distinction in Women’s Wear for which she won the L’Oreal award for Best Collection, Molly has embarked on a n incredible career designing for some of the best international fashion houses within the Industry.

Straight from Graduation, Molly spent nearly 4 years designing for Stella McCartney as a key member of both design ethos and production. She then returned to Central Saint Martins to complete her MA in Women’s Wear. It was during that period  that Molly was awarded 1st prize in the Prestigious Chloe Award by then Creative Director Phoebe Philo, and esteemed London fashion Critic and writer Hilary Alexander.

Once her MA was completed Molly moved straight into Yves Saint Laurent– working alongside Stefano Pilati, Head Designer of the international Fashion Power-House in Paris. She was then hired as senior designer at Gianfranco Ferre in Milan.

Molly has also gained numerous accolades and awards for her illustrations, which have been published on several occasions. These include both the Colin Barnes and Nina De Yorke awards.
